Maths!

Don't forget: You need to go onto Live Mathletics for at least ten minutes at the start of Maths time. 

This week our focus is on symmetry! Try out these activities:

Symmetry Artist - draw and watch the website make a mirror image of what you have created! The end result will be symmetrical!
Where is the line of symmetry? - Click 'New Figure' and then move the line so that it shows where the 'line of symmetry' is. How many can you get right in a row?!

• Submarine Game - you need a buddy! - You can find a buddy to play this 'Submarine Game' with. It is all about adding on ten! Get someone at home to play with you too.
• Save the Whale! - See if you can Save the Whale by sticking together the pipes that add together to make 10!

• Math Journey: Greater and Less Than - Watch as the boy runs across the screen collecting keys... but oh no! He keeps getting stuck. Can you solve the maths problems to help him? Think about your greater than and less than signs... Remember that they are like crocodiles, and eat the bigger number!
• Fruit Shoot! - This game helps you practice adding up numbers!
• Bullet Ball - This game helps you practice adding up numbers! Practice your numbers that add to 5 and your  numbers that add to 10!
• Fraction Shoot! - there are a few different levels of this game. Start with the easiest one (equal and unequal parts) and see how you go. Have fun!
• Ten Less Football - click the number which is ten less than the number on the goalie's shirt to score a goal! Don't forget to click 'next' when you get it right.
• Robin Hood Doubles - this game helps you practice your doubles to 20! How quickly can you answer the questions? 
• Feed Fribbit Addition - Play the 'Pro' version!
